  • Charles Conner

Charles Conner aka The Original Spur has been an artist since the age of four. He first learned to draw Ninja Turtles from his siblings and was hooked ever since. Years would pass and he would continue his love of art all the way up into college, but life has a way taking your so called plans and flipping them on its head. Joining the military at the age of 17, he would eventually be called into active duty forcing him to drop out of college. After a tour in Iraq, he attempted to get back to what he had known all his life but, discovered quickly that it was easier said than done. PTSD formed a mental block between his creativity and himself which hindered him for over a decade from producing even the simplest of art forms. After a lengthy struggle, he now uses his creativity and imagination to create one of a kind abstract pieces filled with vibrant colors and a semi realistic interpretation of his surroundings from the Black man's perspective. Creativity, Positivity, and Individuality. Welcome to the journey of The Original Spur!

  • Matej Anzin

I was born in former Yugoslavia eventually torn apart by war. As a child I always gravitated towards drawing and soon after, that became my focus. I'd draw portraits and trees, and train myself in understanding perspective. It was all Realism that I became skilled in. In my teenage years I found admiration for our late Impressionists; the masters of the late 1800s. After graduating from Industrial Design I started my art career and a few years later moved to the US where I found more inspiration to continue my tumultuous art journey. Within that period I also accepted the challenge to explore abstract and modern styles of painting. Although I stay loyal to Impressionism I do create paintings of other genres when my expression and interests require it.
